NEW POSTDOC POSITIONS FOR 2025– Multiple graduate student and Postdoctoral Fellow positions with Dalhousie University / Fisheries and Oceans Canada on fisheries genomics in Halifax, NS, Canada.
Positions: Several gradate student and postdoctoral fellow positions are available at Dalhousie University / Fisheries and Oceans Canada (Halifax, NS) within the Bradbury Lab and in collaboration with Tony Kess (DFO) and Paul Bentzen (Dal). Potential research topics involve the development of genomic / computational tools and their application to inform marine management and conservation including the impacts of climate change and salmon aquaculture on wild species. Species of primary interest are Atlantic Salmon, Arctic Charr, Redfish, American Plaice, and Rainbow smelt as well as the application of eDNA to fish assessment.

Graduate student candidates must have a suitable undergraduate degree, and postdoc candidates must have a PhD in fisheries science, population genetics, genomics, oceanography or a related field, and strong quantitative skills.
