Postdoctoral Research Associate – Aquatic Ecology

A postdoctoral research associate position is available at Trent University in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Frost (frostlab.ca) to join ongoing research on ecological processes in lakes. The postdoctoral associate should have a specialization in one or more of the following: aquatic ecology, plankton ecology, ecological stoichiometry, water quality, or biogeochemical cycling. The postdoc will also assist in proposal development for research activities related to foodweb dynamics, eutrophication and climate change. The position is 100% research, although teaching opportunities may be available if of interest to the applicant. The salary is competitive and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The start date is negotiable but ideally would be no later than January 1, 2025. The initial appointment is for one year, with extensions possible.
